Hi, I’m Riya, I’m from Delhi and I’m 19 years old.
How tall are you?
I barely touch 5ft 4″ but I like wearing heels A LOT so on any given day my height goes upto like 5ft 6″ at least.
Do you have any hidden talents?
None of my ‘talents’ are hidden but I like to sing really badly, play moderately good guitar/ukulele and draw.
What do you do for a living?Empty my dad’s wallet I’m currently a super unemployed Knitwear Design student in NIFT and I have no clue what I’m doing with my existence, much like any other college student.
What’s your favourite song?
Now this is an answer that’ll keep changing every two weeks but right now it would probably be Take me Dancing by Will Joseph Cook. I’m a romantic to the fucking moon so this song really hit me hard. I also love everything by IDK HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME and Twenty One Pilots. Cool people.
What is your favourite TV Series?
Again, an answer bound to change but right now I’m loving Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I’m no stand up comedian but something about Miriam’s need to find humor in all situations strikes me as my own. 10/10 would recommend you watch this show.
I also really really like Modern Love, Fleabag and The Boys currently. Prime Video owns ya girl’s ass.
What’s your favourite movie?
Now bear with me when I say, I’m a sucker for Bhool Bhulaiya. I KNOW it’s not the smartest movie ever, but damn do I love that movie. As far as English movies go, I like anything by Marvel a lot. a. lot.
What’s your favourite junk food?
I think it’s universal that any Indian teen’s staple diet is Maggi (or any instant noodles, really) but I also love the good old garbage McDonald’s when I’m feeling low. which is everyday. I have fries everyday. I don’t deserve health lol
If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’m like eight parts mountain dew, so that’s that.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I used to say anywhere in Europe because of the whole media romanticism but no that I’ve shifted away from home, Delhi seems like the dream destination. And I like absolutely nothing about that place, but also everything.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
Dan Howell. I stumbled upon his youtube channel when I was like 15 or 16, you know, the self loathing years. His videos helped me articulate my own emotions and his whole growth as a person and as a content creator over the years really speaks to me.
What is something unusual you know how to do?
I can do tsunami tongue. Don’t google it, it’s gross.
Sweet or Savory?
SAVORY any day of the week. Fuck sweet shit.
Favorite season?
Growing up in Delhi meant extreme summers and extreme winters for me so the only time I didn’t complain about the weather was during the short Spring and an even shorter Autumn. I like moderate climates because I really can’t deal with being too hot or too cold.
Favourite Ice cream?
I hate sweet shit but I’m adding this because apparently people don’t mix pepsi and vanilla ice cream on a regular basis and that is saddening to me. Also I’m lactose intolerant so I usually don’t eat ice creams at all
